Los Angeles Lakers Announce Summer League Rosters

The Los Angeles Lakers have announced their roster for the upcoming California Classic in San Francisco, which will tip off on July 2nd.
The Lakers will open their summer league campaign against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, July 2nd at 8:00 PM ET. They will then face the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, July 3rd at 6:00 PM ET, and the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, July 4th at 6:00 PM ET.
Las Vegas Summer League
The Lakers will also participate in the Las Vegas Summer League, which will take place from July 6th to 15th.
The Lakers will play five games in Las Vegas, with their schedule as follows:
- Saturday, July 8th: vs. Washington Wizards (8:00 PM ET)
- Sunday, July 9th: vs. Phoenix Suns (6:00 PM ET)
- Monday, July 10th: vs. New Orleans Pelicans (8:00 PM ET)
- Tuesday, July 11th: vs. New York Knicks (6:00 PM ET)
- Wednesday, July 12th: vs. Dallas Mavericks (TBD)
The Lakers' summer league roster features a mix of young players and veterans, including:
- Wenyen Gabriel
- Max Christie
- Scotty Pippen Jr.
- Cole Swider
- Shareef O'Neal
- James Bouknight
The Lakers are looking to use the summer league to evaluate their young players and develop their team chemistry. They will be hoping to have a successful summer league campaign and build momentum heading into the 2023-24 season.
