Nationwide Precautionary Recall

Popular grocery chain Trader Joe's has announced a nationwide recall of approximately 653,000 Mango Tangerine Scented Candles due to a potential fire hazard.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the candles' wicks can extend beyond the wax, causing the flame to spread to the glass and plastic containers.

Trader Joe's has received 16 reports of incidents involving the candles, including two resulting in minor burns to consumers. The company has urged customers to immediately stop using the recalled candles and return them to any Trader Joe's store for a full refund.

To identify the recalled candles, customers should check for the SKU number 504393 and the lot codes: P0108, P0109, P0110, P0405, P0607, P0608, P0706, P0707, P0809, P0823, N0115, N0216, N0315, N0411, N0412, N0413, N0420, N0421, N0512, & N0521.
